 Insurance & Rates

I am not in network with any insurance except Aetna (but this is subject to change). I understand the financial benefit of using an in-network provider (cost of living is ridiculous) but feel strongly that you should be in full control of your care. Not only do insurance companies dictate how often you come in they also determine how long you can sit on the couch, down to the minute, as well require documentation/proof per session to make sure you have a good enough reason to receive care on their dime. That’s not how counseling (or any healthcare service) should work but unfortunately that is the case with managed care.

Most clinicians are moving away from insurance for these reasons. Our time together should be determined by the two of us and no one else. Once out of network there are a few ways for you to file a claim for reimbursement depending on your out of network benefit plan. After each session I can provide a superbill which you can directly submit to your insurance carrier. Another option is using Mentaya, a third party service that handles everything for you. Current Rates:

Initial Intake Session: 90 minute Diagnostic Assessment & Treatment Plan $200

Individual Therapy Session: 60 minutes $150

Third-Party Reproductive Evaluation: Psychosocial consultation, required documentation, ongoing communication with medical team and legal representatives, and requested collaboration with additional support staff $400
