Insurance & Rates
I am currently in network with BCBS and Aetna but this is subject to change in January 2024. I understand the financial benefit of using an in-network provider (cost of living is ridiculous) but feel strongly that you should be in full control of your care. Not only do insurance companies dictate how often you come in they also determine how long you can sit on my couch, down to the minute, as well require documentation/proof per session to make sure you have a good enough reason to receive care on their dime. That’s not how counseling (or any healthcare service) should work but unfortunately that is the case with managed care.
Most clinicians are moving away from insurance for these reasons. Our time together should be determined by the two of us and no one else. Once out of network I can provide a “superbill” after each session so you can file a claim for reimbursement depending on your out of network benefit plan.
Initial Session: 60 minute Diagnostic Assessment & Treatment Plan $150
Individual Session: 60 minutes $125
